Dagmara Furgal holds her board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She completed her undergraduate degree from Loyola University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After a year of doing research in Mental Health at The University of Chicago, she decided to pursue a career in Nursing. Her passion has always been to help people better their lives physically & mentally. She continued her education & graduated with high honors from Olivet Nazarene University with her Master’s in Nursing, specializing in their Family Nurse Practitioner track.
Dagmara’s philosophy is to provide natural cosmetic enhancements to boost an individual's confidence and improve overall quality of life through vein procedures. She believes these subtle enhancements will provide blood flow and circulation throughout the body getting people on their feet again and out into the world.
Dagmara has worked primarily in surgery at Rush University Medical Center. She assisted in many procedures specializing in ENT, Plastic Surgery, and Neurosurgery. She has worked as a scrub nurse in many invasive microsurgery procedures including cancer resections and dissection or anastomosis of vessels and nerves. Her passion for hands-on facial procedures and veins has stemmed from working in the operating room where she had many different exposures in surgery. Dagmara was also an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University teaching nursing skills and is also a clinical preceptor to Nurse Practitioner Students.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her little dog Mila as well as her friends and family. Her favorite hobbies include being out in nature, painting, cooking, hiking, snowboarding, and doing outdoor activities. She is highly skilled and trained in a variety of injectable treatments from ultrasound guided sclerotherapy, visually guided sclerotherapy, facial dermal fillers, and botulinum toxin injections. Dagmara is fluent in Polish and Spanish.
