About Us

The vascular system is one of the most complicated systems in the body. Because it’s such an intricate network, there’s only one type of doctor you should trust for your vascular care — an expert surgeon. Surgeons are trained to provide highly effective, comprehensive treatments for vascular conditions, including varicose veins and spider veins. Surgeons approach vein treatment as it relates to the entire vascular system.

Dr. Robert Shapiro is a Board-Certified Surgeon - trained to care for patients using every vascular treatment available. Dr. Shapiro is uniquely qualified to make the most accurate diagnosis and prescribe the best treatment for the most favorable outcome.

Shapiro Vein Center is devoted exclusively to vein care. Unlike other physicians who treat vein disease as a sidelight to another medical specialty, the sole focus of our practice is state of the art, minimally invasive vein care. Our facility is designed exclusively for vein care and our entire clinical care team is dedicated to your venous health. We also have team members who are well-versed in the following languages: Spanish, Polish and Lithuanian.

Throughout these unprecedented times, we are committed to keeping our patients and staff safe. Vein disease is a progressive disorder, so we are proud to keep our doors open to get patients the treatments they need. To ensure safe, affordable vein care is available, our facilities and clinical teams have put in place a strict set of protocols. We are also offering telemedicine appointments.
