We Accept Most Insurance & Medicare
Shapiro Vein Center contracts with a large variety of insurance companies to provide the most access for our patients. Insurance coverages for vein treatments vary depending on your insurance plan and specific policy limits.
Most insurance plans separate vein treatment into two categories: medically necessary and cosmetic. If your procedure is required due to medical reasons, it will almost certainly be covered by insurance. Insurance will reimburse a high percentage of the treatment cost if there is a documented problem of venous insufficiency with associated symptoms.
However, if your vein treatment is merely cosmetic, your treatment will most likely not be covered. To get a better understanding of the details of your policy, contact our office to have your specific concerns addressed with our staff.
We will work with you to help you understand your coverage. For patients who will have a co-insurance, deductible, or are self-pay, we are able to set up payment plans to accommodate your specific financial situation.
